Halloween 2007

Non zucche, streghe, fantasmi o scheletri per halloween, ma un albero un po' stecchito.
Eccolo qui Skeleton tree che ho confezionato a cuscinetto con filati Belle Soie di crescent colors e lino vintage di Lakeside.


Stasy Nash è una disegnatrice che ho scoperto da poco ma che ha catturato la mia attenzione per il suo stile primitive, apparentemente approssimativo e trascurato ma che stimola la creatività di ciascun interprete.

Come una lavagna

Il titolo di questo disegno di BOAF è School house sampler e, in effetti, il lino grigio scuro ricorda le lavagne di scuola, nere al mattino e grigie dopo essere state scritte e cancellate più volte.
Se mi è semplice scrivere sulla lavagna , non così è stato ricamare su questo colore di lino.
Il lino è 32ct. nel colore Black crow di BOAF e i fili sono i WDW.



The title of this design by BOAF is School house sampler and the color of linen reminds the blackboards of my school: black in the morning and grey after it's written more times later.
If it's simple for myself to write on a blackboard it wasn't the stitching on this dark color of linen.

We all hope to find someone who is able to bright your day!!!!
After an hard day at school I found a parcel in my mailbox: it was from VL!!!!
"It's without doubt something precious" this is what I've thought when I saw it and this became true.

A wonderful heart, designed by VL and stitched over one. And if this was not enough , she sent me also the nice blue fabrics.
