Nel weekend sono sbocciate le rose sul mio balcone, deliziosamente profumate e tanto attese.
E antiche sono anche le rose fiorite sulla tela. Si tratta di uno schema di Ewe & Eye & Friends datato 1994 e che si intitola Garden bouquet.
Peccato che queste disegnatrici abbiano cessato la loro attività. I loro disegni sono stati per me come una specie di primo amore e ancora oggi è un piacere ricamarle.
Ed ecco il bouquet che ho ricamato con i magnifici fili di Nina tinti a mano con sfumature incredibili.

I regret that EEF girls have stopped the designing job since their patterns are without time and unique so that it's always a pleasure when I stitch one of them.

RispondiEliminaYes, they were some of my favorite designers. I met Kam and Barb in 2000 and they let us into their studio in Colorado to buy their charts and watch how they designed with pencil and paper. I have a large collection, and thankful for it. Let me know if I can share anything with you.
